Similar in design and features to our Rural Mailbox Support (Model 442), this features a shorter 30" boom arm that swings upon contact. This is ideal for in-town and residential roads where a postal carrier does not walk up to the house. Rest assured that this has been tested and approved to withstand damage from traffic and harsh winter conditions.
Solid galvanized steel construction with durable powder coat. Base driver is included to assist with installation.
*It is not recommended to mount a Two-Box Mounting Plate to our Suburban models. If you are interested in mounting two boxes onto one post, you will want our Rural Mailbox Post.
- Easy Installation, Base Driver Included: No concrete or digging required, simply drive base post into the ground
- No special tools required: To install, will use a hammer, adjustable wrench, and tape measure - that's it!
- Durable Construction: Galvanized steel with powder coat
- 30" Boom Arm Swings Upon Impact: Automatic self-righting design, saving your mailbox from damage
- Ideal Residential Locations and In-Town Streets where curb is level with the roadway
- Meets All Postal Service Requirements: Height Adjustable
- Accommodates All Mailbox Types and Sizes
For a complete install, consider one of our mailbox mounting boards, available in medium, ironside, and large sizes.
For deep-ditch installation, you will also need an upright extension. Installation is in a deep ditch when the location of the base post is 6”+ lower than the road's surface. While the Suburban can be used for a ditch installation, consider our Rural Mailbox Post model for best ditch installations.
